I want to extend my gratitude to each of you who attended and contributed to the grand opening of our new facility on Addendum Lane on May 18th. Your presence and support made the ribbon-cutting ceremony an unforgettable milestone for AP Marine.
As I mentioned during the event, our journey began just before the challenges of Covid-19 when we acquired the property with ambitious dreams. Despite the uncertain times, we persevered, and seeing the results of our hard work alongside all of you was truly exhilarating.
Special thanks go out to our remarkable host, Patrina “Power Girl” O’Connor-Paynter, whose energy and enthusiasm set the perfect tone for the day. We were also honored to welcome representatives from Yamaha, Japan; AkzoNoble, USA; and Valvoline, who traveled to our beautiful island to join us in this celebration.
Our new state-of-the-art facility stands as a testament to our commitment to providing superior service to our customers. With enhanced capabilities and cutting-edge technology, we can now complete projects more swiftly and efficiently, regardless of weather conditions. This advancement not only meets but exceeds the demands of modern outboard motor servicing.

Specialist Detailing Course Completed.
In preparation for the launch of their state-of-the-art facility, AP Marine, Bermuda's premier boatyard, has significantly invested in enhancing their team's expertise. They recently concluded a highly successful five-day training program, led by renowned detailer Drake Robert, who was brought in all the way from Pensacola, Florida. This intensive course equipped AP Marine's detailing team with the latest techniques and industry-leading products to deliver top-tier boat care.
The comprehensive program covered both interior and exterior surfaces. Participants refined their skills in cleaning and treating a diverse range of materials, from canvas and fiberglass to vinyl, cushions, and even the head compartment. For exteriors, the training emphasized meticulous cleaning and protection of the hull, gel coat (the glossy outer layer), and canvas materials such as awnings.
This newfound expertise ensures AP Marine's detailing team is now equipped to provide enhanced attention to detail for every inch of your boat.
